Welcome to the Soloway JCC Ganon Preschool
Ganon offers a comprehensive curriculum, rich in Judaic and secular learning plus so much more! Afternoon enrichment programs stimulate young minds, encourage creative play and keep kids active with Monkey Rock* Music, science, yoga, dance, and instructional swimming in the SJCC saltwater pool. Our preschool boasts two child-friendly outdoor playgrounds giving the children plenty of opportunities to play in the fresh air.
*Monkey rock music and instructional swim is not currently offered however we will still have a music class and free swim.
Everyone is welcome at the SJCC Ganon Preschool.
- Enrollment at Ganon Preschool requires that all families maintain a valid Family Membership with the Soloway Jewish Community Center (SJCC) for the duration of their time at Ganon.

Learning Through Play
Children learn through play as play nourishes every aspect of a child’s development and forms the foundation of intellectual, social, physical, and cognitive skills necessary for success in school and in life.
At Ganon we instill a lifelong love of learning in children and give them the foundation to do good deeds, build community, give back and be kind to others.
Our Facilities
The Ganon Preschool is part of the Soloway Jewish Community Centre and has access to all of its stellar facilities including a full size gymnasium, indoor salt water pool and social halls for holiday celebrations.
Our child-friendly, air conditioned classrooms are complimented by two fenced and secure outdoor playgrounds fully equipped with play structures and toys perfect for our little ones.
At Ganon we instill a lifelong love of learning in children and give them the foundation to do good deeds, build community, give back and be kind to others.
Multi Lingual and Judaic Programming
The Ganon curriculum focuses on Jewish customs as well as English, French and Hebrew vocabulary. We celebrate and learn about Jewish holidays through, tradition, stories, song and dance.
On Fridays we welcome Shabbat with a school-wide celebration.

Ganon Preschool is part of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program and our organization receives funding from the Province of Ontario and the City of Ottawa.
