About Broadway Workout: 5-6-7-8! Broadway Workout is a new dance-based fitness class for musical theater enthusiasts of any skill level. Learning choreography is great for mental and physical agility and is a ton of fun. Work on your choreography skills while working up a sweat to a popular Broadway song. Everyone welcome. No experience necessary.


Meditation Mini-Retreat

Experience a meditation retreat on a small scale with sitting, walking and lying down meditation. This special mini-retreat is an extension of the weekly SJCC Mindful Meditation class. All are welcome including beginners who are up for the challenge of a three-hour session. Aside from instruction and opportunities for discussion, this will mostly be a silent retreat.

Specialty Yoga

Restorative Gentle Yoga

Let go of everyday tension and stress in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Increase balance, strength, stamina, flexibility and vitality. Modifications for individual body types and physical limitations make this an excellent class for beginners. Alternative postures are offered for experienced participants or those who want a greater challenge. Emphasis on breath-work and mindfulness leaves everyone feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Maximum 8 participants

Chair Yoga

Helps with stiff and aching joints, balance, posture and alignment. Includes 30 minutes of seated yoga poses that strengthen the body and 30 minutes standing, using the chair and other props for stability and support. (see group fitness schedule)

Learn how to safely use the Fitness Centre equipment. Teens who complete this course gain full access to the Fitness Centre. Choose from any one of the following two day sessions.
