Rehabilitation Functional Fitness

Designed for those recovering from injury or medical conditions (stroke, surgery, knee and hip) who are ready to get back on the move! Improve balance, mobility and functionality in this small group setting.

Monday 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm
Fall: October 19 – December 14 • 9 weeks
No class: October 12.

Ryan has spent much of his career helping people with injuries, disabilities and those recovering from surgery reach their highest rehabilitation potential. Known for his compassion and patience, Ryan gets results and has fun along the way!

Krav Maga

This Krav Maga program will include personal protection strategies, situational awareness, and learning to recognize indicators of danger.  You will learn to use your voice, and be assertive.  This course is physical in nature and will include striking in the air, and on pads.  In addition, you will learn how to use your environment to protect yourself.  Due to Covid-19, there will be no partner work.

Specialty Yoga

Restorative Gentle Yoga

Let go of everyday tension and stress in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Increase balance, strength, stamina, flexibility and vitality. Modifications for individual body types and physical limitations make this an excellent class for beginners. Alternative postures are offered for experienced participants or those who want a greater challenge. Emphasis on breath-work and mindfulness leaves everyone feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Maximum 8 participants

Chair Yoga

Helps with stiff and aching joints, balance, posture and alignment. Includes 30 minutes of seated yoga poses that strengthen the body and 30 minutes standing, using the chair and other props for stability and support.

Introduction to Weights and Fitness age 12-15

Learn how to safely use the Fitness Centre equipment. Teens who complete this course gain full access to the Fitness Centre.
