If We Could Talk To The Animals

Ages 8 to 12 (Born between 2013 – 2017)

Budding zoologists experience an action-packed week discovering the natural world through activities, games, crafts, stories and interpretive programming. Welcome a variety of animal visitors and people who work with animals and end the week with an amazing field trip. Campers will discover amazing facts about animals and their habitats. It’s a wild week full of discovery and adventure that you won’t want to miss! 

Rock Star    

Ages 10 to 14 (Born between 2011 and 2015)

Ever dream of becoming the next rock star? If you can read music, play an instrument, or sing, then this is the week for you! Join us for an incredible music experience as we partner with Raven Street Studios, a local recording studio where legends like Snoop Dogg, Avril Lavigne, Ashanti, Billie Lourd, and The Guess Who have recorded. Mornings at the studio, learn all the behind-the-scenes secrets of a professional recording studio. Record your own song, track instruments, and dive into the world of music production. At the end of the week, each camper will take home a copy of their jam session—a cool memento of their very own recording! In the afternoons, we’ll head back to the JCC for outdoor camp activities and a refreshing swim. Whether you’re an aspiring musician or just love to jam, this is a week you won’t want to miss!

Artistic Adventure  

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

Get ready for a week of creativity and adventure!  Our hands-on, super creative camp is perfect for all aspiring artists and adventure lovers! Explore the world of art using all kinds of cool mediums while embracing the joy of messy, uninhibited creation. But the fun doesn’t stop inside the JCC! We’ll head out on two exciting field trips to scenic and artistic locations, sparking new ideas and inspiration for creativity! This camp is all about experimenting, having fun, and embracing the artistic process (even if it gets a little messy!). So, roll up your sleeves, dive into the art supplies, and let’s create something amazing together! 

Magical Mysteries

Ages 8 to 12 (Born between 2013 and 2017)

Join us for a week full of mind-blowing magic as professional magician Michael Bourada teaches exciting tricks that will leave everyone! Learn a new sleight-of-hand skills and magical secret each day with plenty of time to practice and perfect your craft. At the end of the week, take home your very own magic kit. Magic is awesome plus its a great way to build social skills and confidence while having tons of fun. This camp includes a variety of camp games, exciting activities, and a daily swim. Don’t miss out on this enchanting week of fun, laughter, and, of course…magic! 


July 14 – July 18 

Pop Art with Sheltoons    

Ages 8 to 12 (Born between 2013 and 2017)

Get ready to mix it up with creativity and fun! Campers dive into the world of painting and drawing as they create a variety of colorful projects, guided by an instructor from Sheltoons Cartooning. Each morning, explore different art techniques and media, helping campers unlock their inner artists and bring their imagination to life. In the afternoons, the creativity continues as we team up with Lego Camp for a mix of camp games and exciting activities. Plus, we’ll cool off with a daily free swim to relax and recharge! It’s a week full of creativity, teamwork, and fun that you won’t want to miss! 

LEGO® Mechanical Engineering and Robotics    

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

This STEM camp offers hands-on LEGO engineering and robotics projects based on the newest LEGO technologies including Powered Up and SPIKE Prime. Projects and instructors are from Orange STEM Education, owned by Ian Dudley, Ottawa’s “LEGO guy”. Learn LEGO Technic building skills, engineering principles, teamwork and organization. Learn about strong and stable structures, as well as gearing and drive systems. With a partner, build unique hands-on projects that bring machines to life using gears and LEGO Powered Up motors, and build LEGO SPIKE Prime projects with motors and sensors. A variety of camp games, activities with Pop Art campers in the afternoon and a daily swim. Can’t make it this week? This program is also available Aug 18-23 


July 21 – July 25

Great Adventure

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

This week is jam-packed with activities that will push you both physically and mentally! On-site, we’ll dive into a mix of sports, circuit training and a daily swim. Get ready for two exciting off-site field trips! We’ll also be holding either the Amazing Race Challenge or competing in the Maccabiah Games, where teamwork, strategy, and a little bit of friendly competition will make for an unforgettable experience! If you’re looking for a week of fun, fitness, and adventure, this is the place to be! 

Stop Motion Claymation with Film Camp In a Box 

Ages 8 to 12 (Born between 2013 and 2017)
$415 M • $465 NM 

Action, adventure and a lot of! Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the stop motion animation process, including pre-production, production and post-production. Working in small crews, learn about set design, script writing and editing. Campers will create their own stop motion animation and edit a short film and movie trailer, complete with sound effects, music, voice, sound effects and special effects. Movies will be presented at our red carpet, popcorn film festival and archived on our digital theatre.  Our afternoons will be filled with camp games and a free swim.

Summertime Splash    

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

Get ready for a splash-tastic week of water fun, thrilling games and challenges plus a trip to am area water park and water sports on the Ottawa Rivera perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors and cool off! We’ll keep the fun flowing with recreational swims and water-themed games all week long! It will to be an unforgettable week of splashes, laughs, and adventure! Campers should be comfortable swimming from the shallow end to the deep end without a life jacket and have minimum Swimmer 4. 

Film Making with Film Camp In A Box 

Ages 10 to 14 (Born between 2011 and 2015)

Action, adventure and a lot of comedy! Mentored by master filmmakers, campers will engage in hands-on exploration of the filmmaking process, including pre and post. Learn about cinematography, script writing and editing in small groups before creating, performing and editing a short film and movie trailer with special effects, music, voices, titles and sound effects. Future filmmakers will use the latest technology, including Mac books, 4K cameras, tripods, boom microphones, green screens and an aerial drone. Movies will be presented at our red carpet, popcorn film festival and archived on our digital theatre.  Afternoons are filled with camp games and a free swim.

Horseback Riding Camp 

Ages 10 to 14 (Born between 2011 and 2015)

Saddle up for an unforgettable adventure! Our Young Equestrians will hop on the school bus and head to the Royal Equestrian Ranch for a morning of hands-on experience grooming and riding horses, learning the theory behind horsemanship, and building leadership and confidence through practical lessons. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to the JCC to cool off with a daily swim in the outdoor pool—perfect for recharging after an action-packed day on horseback. Join us for a week of riding, learning, and making memories that will last a lifetime! 

Spy Kids: The Science Behind Spying   

Ages 8 to 12 (Born between 2013 and 2017)

Ever wonder how to dust for fingerprints or read invisible ink? Campers will dive into the world of science and detective work as they uncover clues and evidence to track down the elusive Agent X! Using all kinds of cool science tricks, gather pieces of the puzzle and get closer to cracking the case.  On Friday, we’ll put everything we’ve learned to the test on an epic adventure to the Diefenbunker Museum where we’ll use our new skills to capture Agent X once and for all! Each afternoon is packed with fun camp activities, plus a daily free swim in the pool to cool off and recharge. Don’t miss out on this thrilling week of science, mystery, and adventure! 


August 11 – August 15

Kids in the Kitchen      

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

Is your child a budding chef in the making? Junior chefs explore their creativity in the kitchen! Over the course of this fun and educational camp, campers will learn essential cooking skills, kitchen safety, and how to prepare delicious dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs, Ruchama and Scott from Village Cafe and Marina a former bakery owner with a background in cakes, cookies and pastries 

  • Learn cooking techniques and food preparation. 
  • Create tasty dishes to take home and share with the family. 
  • Double-up recipes to help prepare meals for local food banks, learning the value of giving back. 

Afternoons are filled with exciting camp games, activities, and free swim time to keep your junior chef energized and having fun. Our camp provides a safe, nurturing environment where your child can build confidence in the kitchen while cultivating a lifelong love for cooking / baking! 

Comic Book/Graphic Novel & Movie Trailer with Film in a Box

Ages 9 to 13 (Born between 2012 and 2016)

Campers embark on an exciting journey into the world of digital storytelling, gaining hands-on experience in both graphic novel creation and mini film production. Through the Film in a Box workshop, students develop critical digital literacy skills while exploring the collaborative process of story design and structure.  Guided by a master filmmaker, and working in small teams, each camper will create a 12-panel interactive digital graphic novel or comic book. With expert instruction, campers will: 

  • Capture Mood & Emotion: Take photos from different perspectives to express tone and feelings. 
  • Comicify & Edit: Import images, apply comic book effects, and add speech bubbles, sound effects, music, and voiceover. 
  • Create a Digital Masterpiece: The final product will be a dynamic digital comic that can be shared with family and friends via our exclusive online private theater. 

August 18 – August 22

Coach Brown’s All Star Basketball    

Ages 8 to 14 (Born between 2011 and 2017)

Join us for an action-packed week of basketball with Coach Carlos Brown, former NCAA and CIS College Coach, and his team of all-star players! Whether you’re looking to improve your passing, shooting, footwork, or defense, this camp is the perfect place to level up your skills.  You’ll get expert coaching, plenty of game time, and non-stop fun as you fine-tune your game with top-notch players who know exactly what it takes to succeed on the court! Our unique program brings together global soccer methods, so you’ll experience the best techniques from around the world!  And there is  plenty of time to cool off and recharge with a daily swim to keep you refreshed and ready to hit the field.  So, whether you want to polish your moves or learn some cool new tricks, this is your chance to level up your game.

  • Gardening: Grow plants and learn about the importance of sustainable agriculture.

This camp takes place in Hebrew. Must have a basic understanding of the Hebrew language.
