Be a camp role model! Our CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program empower teens by giving them new responsibilities, exciting challenges, and plenty of adventures! Teens will work closely with younger campers, take part in team-building activities, and learn what it takes to be a true leader.  Our goal is to provide real-life leadership development, where CITs grow through hands-on experiences and become role models for the younger campers. Along the way, there will be plenty of fun, friendships, and the chance to enjoy all the awesome perks of camp! CITs will alternate between spending time with their own group and joining in with younger campers. The perfect opportunity to build leadership skills, make new friends, and make a big impact at camp!

  • Learn about leadership styles
  • Participate in leadership development workshops and team-building activities
  • Field trips and special guests
  • Enjoy the perks of camp (swim, play, craft, etc…)
  • Participate in all-camp events and spread the camp spirit, acting as role models
  • Create and facilitate games and activities for peers to workshop for younger campers
  • Participate in volunteer and community service opportunities through a Jewish lens. CITs can expect to earn anywhere from 20-40 hours of community service hours
  • Work with the counselors of the camp groups to assist campers
  • Lead activities and games for campers
  • Experience an evaluation and reflection process to assess personal growth and opportunities for future leadership development
