The Soloway Jewish Community Centre is seeking a reliable, mature, responsible and energetic individual with excellent customer service skills for a part-time position at the Soloway JCC Front Desk.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Soloway Jewish Community Centre is seeking a reliable, mature, responsible and energetic individual with excellent customer service skills for a part-time position at the Soloway JCC Front Desk.

  • Greet and welcome  all incoming members, be the first point of contact for members, create a hospitable and relaxing environment for all members;
    dealing with, but not limited to access control, processing memberships, selling product, handling  inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • Enforce policies and rules and adhere to all COVID-19 protocol
  • Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all members
  • Maintain the reception in a tidy and presentable manner

Required Skills

  • Computer literate on all platforms and able to learn SJCC Content Management System (CMS)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High energy, quick thinking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service position
  • Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with strong priority-setting skills
  • Answers all membership and customer inquiries within guidelines and policies;
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Outlook
  • Communication skills (listening, verbal and written)

Early Morning Front Desk Shift

  • Opening the facility on time daily.
  • Arriving at 6:45 am for a 7:00 am open

Education: Secondary School (preferred)

Experience: Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
