Our Philosophy

The philosophy of the Ganon Preschool is that children learn through play. Play nourishes every aspect of children’s development – It forms the foundation of
intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills necessary for success in school and in life. Play “paves the way for learning”.

Socialization during the preschool years is of significant importance. This is a critical time for children to learn skills such as compromise, respect, negotiation, problem solving, empathy and a great deal more. All of these basic socialization skills will help them in the future, as relationships grow more and more complex.

One of the most important objectives of our preschool is to instill a lifelong love of learning in the children. We want them to view school as a positive place.
We encourage their curiosity and extend their areas of interest. We want them to love finding out new things, to learn how to make friends and to learn that adults, other than their parents, can be interesting, fun, caring, and trusting.
