Pick up a Fitness Frenzy card and have an instructor initial it each time you participate in a Group Fitness or Aquafit Program during the month of May. Fill in as many boxes as you can throughout the month and qualify to win great prizes. The more classes you take the better chance you have of being a winner.

To avoid collision within the lap lanes, please be sure to:
  • Wait for any swimmers already in the pool to return to the wall before joining the lane.  
  • Always swim in a counter clockwise circle no matter how many people are in the lane.

Essential Pilates
Essential Pilates teaches the five basic principles of the Stott Pilates® method, and is a good starting point for those new to Pilates as it builds a foundation of exercises needed to move on to the next level. The workout is designed to help participants establish core strength and stability, develop lean muscles and heighten mind-body awareness. Props, like flex bands, small balls and fitness circles may be incorporated. 

Vanessa Novini is a Stott Pilates certified instructor and has been teaching in the Ottawa area since 1999.
